About Lexi Pline

I've been taking photos since I first picked up a camera in middle school, and haven't stopped since. I currently work in Media and Communications for US Sailing, where I run the association social channels, shoot regattas and write stories; as well as a freelance news photographer.

So far in my career, I've been awarded the National YoungArts Award in Photography two years in a row (2014-2015), worked for BU publications The Daily Free Press, BU Today, and BU News Service. I was the photo editor and primary photographer at the MV Times newspaper before I left the news industry.

I've shot everything from big name concerts to local sailing competitions, and many things in between. Recently, I've branched into shooting and editing videos for news and public relations.

I'm also an avid sailor, and an alumni of the Boston University Sailing Team. So if i'm not out taking photos, you're pretty much guaranteed to find me on the water.
